The Interface is your connection to Adax.
Download Adax's Type 2 Interface (AT2I or the Interface)
The Interface is a standalone, portable Windows 10/11 application. It does not require to be installed in a typical fashion. If you are a dedicated user of Adax and have established yourself with her, she will put a binary, encrypted, digital ID on the Interface. If you copy the Interface directory to a thumb drive and take it with you, she will know who you are at all times regardless of the computer you are using.
Installation:
After unzipping the file, just copy the "ADAX-net-Interface" directory to anywhere you like. If you plan for it to run at login, make it a permanent place. If you do move it after selecting autorun, just unselect autorun and reselect it and it will update to the new location. If you want to access Adax wherever you are, you can copy the Interface to a thumb drive.
Configuration File:
The config file can be found in the Interface directory: adax-interface/config.py.
Configuration Options:
ACS_SERVER:
You can manually specify Adax's server, if you do it will be the only server she tries. It is recommended, of course, to keep it at auto. On auto, it will search for an ACS in this order: localhost, acs_server_local (below), primary Hyve ACS, secondary Hyve ACS. The first is localhost in case you are working on an extension for a server you are running. The second is for the server you may be running (ACS_SERVER_LOCAL). The last two are the ACS servers at the HyveLab.
ACS_SERVER_LOCAL:
This is if you run your own ACS and want the Interface to have it on the connect list.
TCP_PORT:
Useful if you run your own ACS. The default is 4096, which is the port the Hyve ACS is on.
MUSIC:
Direct path to your music files should you want Adax to play them.
ST_SOUND:
Feedback sound when you use the wake word. (0 = off / 1 = on)
